Schatz went into a little bit about the school’s history, specifically, how he came up with the name Wordsworth when the school turned nonprofit in 1970. “It’s something I never thought would happen,” he said. He told the crowd that after he found out the school would be named after him, he took a drive out to the campus to see things for himself. Schatz described himself as someone who has always been for education, and the betterment of children. “I couldn’t have done it myself,” he said.
